Robert Zampetti is a Directorleading Towers Watson's HR Service Delivery practice in Asia Pacific. He is based in Hong Kong. He originally specialized in the area of designing and implementing HR delivery solutions since joining the firm in 1993. It was here that he first learned the importance of Change Management. Subsequently, hehas been involved in numerous global transformation projects, which focused on:

» Setting up a more dynamic, cross-functional, and leveraged approach to providing workforce-related knowledge to the
   enterprise through Centers of Expertise

» Defining and implementing and integrated or lifecycle approach to talent management

» Redefining the role of the typical generalist into a true business partner

» Implementing a professional operations center modelforHR service delivery

In the course of his 18 years of change consulting, Mr. Zampetti has broadened his expertise to cover diverse disciplines including change leadership and coaching, workforce analytics, recruiting, benefits and compensation administration, performance management and succession planning, learning and development, retirement, organization development, employee relations, and HR measurement. Mr. Zampetti is a global practitioner and over his career has been stationed in our Philadelphia, New York, San Francisco, London, and Montréal offices.

Mr. Zampetti has helped develop and deploy change implementation strategies for a variety of global companies.

Examples of Mr. Zampetti's work include:

» Creating leadership alignment

» Assessing enterprise and leadership culture

» Overseeing large, global transformation projects

» Developing global HR delivery strategies and corresponding business cases

» Designing new, global organization structures and corresponding governance processes and bodies

» Supporting HR BPO and HR application vendor contracting and negotiations, including the development of service level

» Assisting in the restructuring of administration because of mergers, acquisitions and spin-offs

In addition to Mr. Zampetti's work as a consultant, from 1995 to 1996, he acted as the lead in the development of Towers Perrin's VendorManagerSM system. Before joining Towers Watson, he held a research and development position with AT&T Bell Laboratories. There he gained experience with the UNIX operating system from some of its original creators. He later took a position as a technical systems engineer for Sun Microsystems. In this position, he was involved in technical consulting and training. He also worked for Bloomingdale's as the HR manager and the manager of customer service.

Mr. Zampetti graduated from VillanovaUniversity in 1984, where he earned a B.A. in philosophy with a concentration in computer science. After graduating, he received a Fulbright scholarship to teach and study in France.
